Shots Fired On Ninth Street
COLUMBIA, MO (July 27, 2013) - On 7/27/13 at 1:35 A.M., officers were dispatched to a large
disturbance near Cherry Street and Tenth Street. As officers arrived
on the scene they observed the disturbance was occurring in the
alleyway on the east side of the 100 block of South Ninth Street.
As officers approached the disturbance on foot they heard five to six
rapid gunshots in the area. The suspect vehicle left the area at a
high rate of speed. The suspect vehicle is described as a newer grey
four door passenger vehicle. The suspect is described as a heavy set
black male.
No injuries have been reported and no property damage. No arrests have
been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (573)875-TIPS to
remain anonymous.
