Fatality Accident 1215 Nifong Boulevard

COLUMBIA, MO (July 27, 2013) - Accident location and time:     07/27/13 at 1052 hours

 

                                            1215 Nifong Boulevard

 

 

Driver#1:      Matthew Todd Ruggles

 

                   DOB 06/12/84

 

                   3572 Prescott Dr

 

                   Columbia, Mo 65201

 

 

Vehicle#1:    1995 Honda Accord (black)

 

 

Vehicle #1 was traveling east on Nifong Blvd from State Farm Parkway.  Vehicle #1 traveled off the roadway to the north, traveled approximately 400 feet and struck a tree.  Driver #1 was not wearing his seat belt.  Alcohol or drug involvement pending toxicology report.  Next of kin has been notified.
