Snow removal operations on 03-25-2013 - afternoon update

COLUMBIA, MO (March 25, 2013) - Crews have again made very good progress today on residential roads. As of 3:00 PM, the majority of residential streets have been plowed and checked by supervisors. Crews are reporting that plowed streets are mostly clear with some patches of slush.

Motorist on Tuesday morning should be cautious as some refreeze of melting snow and ice could occur with forecast lows in the low 20's.

We continue to utilize our Facebook page and Twitter account to provide updates and encourage our customers to monitor Public Works activities on one or both of those social media sites. Customers can view a snow plowing status map or submit snow removal issues on our website at GoColumbiaMo.com.
