Environmental Assessment Public Hearing for proposed projects at Columbia Regional Airport

COLUMBIA, MO (May 20, 2013) - A Public Hearing concerning the Environmental Impact Assessment (EA) completed by RH&S as authorized by the Columbia City Council, concerning airfield and other related improvements at Columbia Regional Airport will be held on Wednesday, June 5 at 12:15 PM in the North Terminal Building at 11260 Airport Drive.

The study was conducted as required in regards to the following proposed airport projects:

*Rehabilitate or reconstruct airfield pavement

*Realign South Rangeline Road

*Acquire 52 acres of land

*Realign Route H

*Improve Runway 13 and parallel Taxiway B

*Construct Taxiway A5 and infield drainage improvements

*Widen Taxiway A4

*Rehabilitate South Apron Area

*Expand Apron between Taxiways A2 and A3

*Expand Automobile parking lot
