Bike to Market Day

COLUMBIA, MO (September 10, 2013) - GetAbout Columbia would like to encourage all Farmers Market attendees to consider using active transportation – like cycling or walking - to the Saturday, September 14, Columbia Farmers Market at 1701 W. Ash.  

 

GetAbout Columbia staff will be on hand from 8:00 a.m. to noon to distribute Columbia Bike Maps, bike taillights and tote bags – while supplies last.  Staff will also check your bike tires for proper inflation and provide air if needed.    Bike racks will be available near the north entrance to the market. 

 

Call GetAbout Columbia at 874-7460 for information on route planning, fall rides and future bike education classes.

 

Funding for GetAbout Columbia is provided by the Federal Highway Administration’s Non-Motorized Transportation Program.
