Homeworks Home Maintenance Training to be Held October 5

COLUMBIA, MO (September 10, 2013) - Saturday, October 5, 2013

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

City Hall Mezzanine Conference Room

701 E. Broadway

 

This free informational class for Homeowners and other interested individuals covers:

*Basic Home Repairs

*Preventive Home Maintenance

*Do-it-Yourself or Hire a Contractor

*Insulation and Energy Efficiency

 

A question and answer period concludes the presentation

 

This class is required to participate in the City of Columbia Housing Rehabilitation Program. Participants in the Rehabilitation Program will receive a free home maintenance guide book (1 per household). Other attendees may purchase a book for $25 (cash or check only). Purchase of a book is not required for class participation.

 

This is a “brown bag” event--participants are invited to bring their own refreshments.
