Vawter School Rd between Old Mill Creek and Scott - Chip Seal work on Monday, September 23

COLUMBIA, MO (September 21, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, September 23rd, at 7:00 a.m., City Street Maintenance crews will begin asphalt overlay on W. Vawter School Road between Scott Blvd. and S. Old Mill Creek Rd.  This work will result in lane restrictions along W. Vawter School Rd. between Scott Blvd. and S. Old Mill Creek Rd.  The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Monday, September 23rd by 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
