Maintenance on Old Highway 63 between Broadway and Bearfield may cause minor delays

COLUMBIA, MO (April 14, 2014) - Beginning Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 a.m., weather permitting, the City of Columbia Street Department will begin maintenance work on Old 63 between Broadway and Bearfield Road. The maintenance will consist of sealing the pavement joints to prevent moisture intrusion. Motorist should watch for temporary lane restrictions which will be designated by signs and possibly flaggers, and motorist should also be prepared for minor delays.  The work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, April 18 at 5:00 p.m. 

 

Motorists and non-motorized users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
