Local kids participate in NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition

COLUMBIA, MO (August 11, 2014) - On Aug. 9, several area youth captured honors in the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition at Columbia's Cosmo Park. The winners of each age group are:

 

GIRLS                                      

Ages 8-9                               

Isabella Perkins                                         

Total Score -- 54 ft.

Ages 12-13                          

Eryn Puett                                                   

Total Score -- 260 ft.

 

BOYS                                   

Ages 6-7                               

Brady Davidson                                        

Total Score -- 143 ft.

Ages 8-9                               

DeShawn Harris                                        

Total Score -- 170 ft.

Ages 10-11                            

Zapher Lea                                                  

Total Score -- 188 ft.                        

Ages 12-13                            

Brady Whelihan                                         

Total Score -- 175 ft.

Ages 14-15                            

Andrew Whelihan                                      

Total Score -- 301 ft.

                                                                                    

All winners will move on to a sectional competition Oct. 12 in Jefferson City. They could qualify for the team championship at Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo., in conjunction with a St. Louis Rams game. Winners at the team championship will have the opportunity to compete in the national competition to be held on the site of an NFL playoff game, all expenses paid.
