Armed Robbery On Business Loop 70

COLUMBIA, MO (August 14, 2014) - ARMED ROBBERY ON BUSINESS LOOP 70

 

On 8/13/14 at 11:30 P.M., Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at 26 Business Loop 70 E, Loop Liquor & Food Mart.  The investigation revealed a white male entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.  The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. A Columbia Police Department K9 assisted in the search for the suspect. There was no one was injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.

 

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

 

White male, in his late twenties or early thirties, last seen wearing a hat, long jean shorts and a light colored t-shirt. Suspect was armed with a handgun.
