One lane of eastbound Broadway intermittently closed for electric work

COLUMBIA, MO (August 14, 2014) - Columbia Water & Light will be constructing a new electric feeder line on East Broadway, between Ann Street and Green Valley Drive. This project will start next week, possibly Tuesday, August 19 or Wednesday, August 20. Installing the underground conduit for the electric lines will cause intermittent closing of the southernmost eastbound lane until mid-September. Some sidewalk and apartment parking lot access points might also be temporarily closed during the construction phase. A few customers will be individually notified if there needs to be a short, scheduled outage when the new electric line is tied into the system.
