Ashland Road Sidewalk & Intersection Project - Begins Monday, August 18

COLUMBIA, MO (August 18, 2014) - Beginning Monday August 18 at 7:00 a.m., Boone Construction Company will begin the Ashland Road Sidewalks and Intersection project.  This project will consist of installing a pedestrian island for the crosswalk at the intersection of Ashland and Stadium and a new sidewalk extending North of Stadium, on Ashland Road, to the intersection of Ashland Road and East Campus Drive.

The project is funded by the GetAbout Columbia Program (Non-Motorized Pilot Program) with a total project cost of $169,100.30. 

The work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday October 1, weather permitting. 

Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
