Armed Robbery Denny's Restaurant

COLUMBIA, MO (December 6, 2014) - ARMED ROBBERY DENNY’S RESTAURANT

  

On 12/6/14 at 5:28 A.M., Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at 1100 Knipp Street, Denny’s Restaurant.

 The investigation revealed a black male entered the restaurant armed with a handgun and fired one shot into the ceiling. The suspect demanded money from the employees and the customers. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel. There were a total of two employees and three customers in the restaurant at the time of the robbery. There was no one injured and the investigation is ongoing.

 Suspect Description:  Black male, approximately 5’5”, 145 pounds last seen wearing dark clothing.
