Commercial Structure Fire 3300 New Haven Lenoir Health Care

COLUMBIA, MO (February 3, 2014) - At 8:03 a.m. Monday, February 03, 2014 the Columbia Fire Department responded to a Commercial Structure Fire at 3300 New Haven Lenoir Health Care Convalescen.

Columbia Firefighters arrived on the scene at 8:06 a.m. to find light smoke in the basement.  Upon further investigation crews found a small fire in a dryer.  The fire was extinguished and under control within 5 minutes.  Columbia Fire Department dispatched 5 fire apparatus to the scene.  The  Occupants of the structure were moved to an unaffected area of the building until fire crews cleared smoke from the structure.  There were no injuries.
