Snow Operations Update - Sunday, Janauy 6 at 6:00 am - Snow Route Parking Ban in Effect

COLUMBIA, MO (January 5, 2014) - National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area with forecast snow totals by noon Sunday of ~5 inches with locally higher totals possible in some areas.

A full crew is now on duty and plowing on 1st and 2nd priority routes. Snow is blowing and drifting with reports of 6 inches on some roadways. Latest forecast states we will see additional snowfall this morning with a total accumulation of 3-6 inches.

Priority Snow Route Parking Ban is in effect. Vehicles must be moved off of priority routes to avoid a citation. Thanks for helping us clear the streets more efficiently by moving your vehicle. You can sign up for reminder advisories and alerts below using the Nixle icon link.

* Stadium and Ash is CLOSED due to a large diameter water main break with 3-4 feet of water covering the intersection
