Update On Tolston Homicide Investigation

COLUMBIA, MO (January 8, 2014) - UPDATE ON TOLSTON HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

 

On 1/7/14 at approximately 4:30 P.M., the New Orleans Louisiana Police Department located Derrick Copelin, 17, on our Boone County Warrant for Murder in the Second Degree with a bond of $1,000,000.00 cash only.  Columbia Police Department Detectives have traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to continue with the Tolston homicide investigation.  At this time, we do not have details of Copelin’s arrest nor Copelin’s booking photo.  We would like to thank the New Orleans Police Department in locating our homicide suspect so quickly.

 

Jimiah A. Lambert, 20, of Columbia, Missouri is still wanted on our Boone County Warrant for Murder in the Second Degree.  Detectives believe Lambert has left the Columbia area.  If anyone has any information of his whereabouts, please contact the Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (573)875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
