DATE & TIME OCCURRED: 01/12/14 @ 0355 hours

ACCIDENT LOCATION: Business Loop 70/Parkade

DRIVER: Matthew T. Wyatt 
Hallsville, MO
Age: 21
Injured: Serious
Seatbelt use: No
Alcohol/Drug use: Suspected/pending further investigation

PASSENGER: Lacy Wright-Skaggs
Hallsville, MO
Age: 24
Injured: Minor
Seatbelt use: No

INCIDENT DETAILS:
 The crash occurred as vehicle #1, a White-colored 1999 Chevy Blazer, was traveling 
westbound on Business Loop 70 near Parkade. Vehicle 1 is believed to be traveling 
westbound in the eastbound lanes of traffic. Vehicle 1 ran off the road to the left and 
collided with a traffic control box. Neither of the occupants was wearing their seatbelt. 
Wyatt was transported to the University of Missouri Emergency Room to be treated for 
serious injuries. Wright-Skaggs was transported to the University of Missouri Emergency 
Room for minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
