UPDATE--ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING AT FOREST AVENUE AND GRAND AVENUE

COLUMBIA, MO (January 12, 2014) -         UPDATE---ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING AT FOREST AVE AT GRAND AVE


Columbia police officers located and arrested Damerian C. Cheatum last 
night at 11:53 P.M. during a traffic stop at Highway 763 North and Brown 
School Rd. He was arrested without incident. Case 2014-000353.
Cheatum was arrested for:
• Two Counts of First Degree Assault
• Two Counts of Armed Criminal Action
• Unlawful Use of a Weapon
• An Existing Warrant for Third Degree Assault, Case 2013-013351.
 
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the Columbia 
Police Department, 573-442-6131, or Crime Stoppers, 875-TIPS (8477), to 
remain anonymous.
