East Walnut Closure during Spring Break

COLUMBIA, MO (March 20, 2014) - East Walnut Closure during Spring Break - Beginning Monday, March 24 at 7:00 am. the City of Columbia Street Department will begin repair work on E Walnut Street. Sections of failing roadbed and driving surfaces will be excavated and replaced.

This work will temporarily close E Walnut Street between Melbourne Street and William Street.  The work associated with the street closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 28 at 5:00 p.m. Work is weather dependent.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
