Update On West Texas Avenue Homicide

COLUMBIA, MO (May 1, 2014) -                          Update on West Texas Avenue Homicide


On 04-30-14, at approximately 7:00 P.M., Darrius Kendall Edwards was 
released from medical treatment and taken into custody and transported 
to the Boone County Jail for the April 22nd homicide of Derrick Brookins. 
Edwards was arrested on a warrant for Murder in the Second Degree with 
a bond amount of $1,000,000.00. Edwards’ mug shot photo is available at 
the Boone County Jail website, www.boonecountymo.org/sheriff.
