Alley Closures Downtown Area; May 5 through 9
COLUMBIA, MO (May 2, 2014) - Beginning Monday, May 5, at 7:00 a.m., Cook Concrete will begin excavation of the alley between S 8th Street and S 10th Street and between Cherry Street and Locust Street as well as South 9th Street to trench in conduit. This work will result in a lane closures at 9th Street and the closure of the alley between S 8th Street and S 10th Street and between Cherry Street and Locust Street. This work will also be from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm each day. The work is scheduled to be completed and the street fully reopened by Friday, May 9, by 3:30 p.m.
Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
