Lane closures in the 500 block of South Greenwood - May 15 and 16

COLUMBIA, MO (May 12, 2014) - Beginning Thursday, May 15, at 7:00 a.m.,  NW Industries will begin excavation of S Greenwood Avenue to tap the sanitary sewer main and install a sanitary service lateral at 500 S Greenwood Avenue.  This work will result in a lane closure of the northbound lane of S Greenwood Avenue between Rollins Street and Stewart Road.  The work should be completed and the street fully reopened by Friday, May 16, by 7:00 p.m.

This work was originally scheduled for the week of May 5 however it was postponed due to weather.

Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
