Emergent Road Closure  - Gans Creek Road between Ponderosa St and Discovery Parkway

COLUMBIA, MO (May 12, 2014) - Columbia Public Works has closed East Gans Creek Road between Ponderosa St and Discovery Parkway due to the emergence of a sink hole which collapsed the roadway. No through or local traffic is allowed on that section of East Gans Creek Road.

Columbia Public Works engineers and Street Division Maintenance crews will work to determine the breadth of the sinkhole as well as the best means to make repairs to the roadway.

East Gans Creek Road will be closed until further notice.
