Arrest Made In Knife Assault On Wilkes Boulevard
COLUMBIA, MO (November 28, 2014) - ARREST MADE IN KNIFE ASSAULT ON WILKES BOULEVARD
Samuel A. Monroe, age 66, from Columbia was arrested at 606 Wilkes Boulevard on 11/28/14 at 2:11 A.M. for Armed Criminal Action with a to be set bond, First Degree Assault with a to be set bond, and Unlawful Use of Weapons Felony with a bond of $4,500.00.
On 11/28/14 at 2:01 A.M., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Wilkes Boulevard, in reference to an assault. The investigation revealed the male victim, age 57, from Columbia, was in a physical argument with Samuel Monroe at 606 Wilkes Boulevard. During the argument, Monroe grabbed a knife from his pocket and stabbed the victim. The male victim received several stab wounds to his stomach and back that are non-life threatening. The male victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.
