In Honor of Almeta: A Celebration at Douglass Park

COLUMBIA, MO (October 13, 2014) - The community is invited to celebrate the memory of former City Councilwoman Almeta Crayton with friendship and music at Douglass Park, from 12-2 p.m. on October 18.

 

The event is being planned by community leaders, including DJ Curtis “Boogieman” Soul, who will play old school tunes for everyone to enjoy.

 

Food Bank donations will be accepted at the event in Almeta’s name to honor her memory, or donation can be sent directly to the Food Bank.
