Shot Fired Claudell Lane

COLUMBIA, MO (October 21, 2014) - SHOTS FIRED CLAUDELL LANE

 

On 10/21/14 at 11:24 A.M., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Claudell Lane in reference one shot fired.

 

Witnesses saw a black male walking near the 1000 block of Claudell Lane prior to the shot being fired. At the exact same time a blue vehicle drove by the same block several times. Witnesses said the driver of the vehicle described as a black male had a handgun then witnesses heard one shot fired. It was reported the black male on foot ran through the apartment complex and out of sight prior to police arrival in the area.

 

Officers did not locate any shell casing at the scene. There are no reports of anyone injured and no property damaged in the incident.  Officers are currently trying to locate the male on foot as well as the driver of the vehicle. Schools in the area were notified of the shots fired incident. There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
