Road Closures and Street Repairs - Week of October 27

COLUMBIA, MO (October 24, 2014) - Beginning Monday, October 28 at 7:00 a.m., Weathercraft Inc will begin roofing repairs at 505 Hitt Street. This will result in a lane closure on Hitt Street between University Avenue and Lowery Mall.  The closure will be in coordination with the campus closure that is 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. The work associated with lane closure is scheduled to be completed by Monday, December 1 at 5:00 p.m. weather permitting. 

Beginning Tuesday, October 28 at 7:00 a.m., Columbia Public Works Street Department will begin street repairs on Worley Street between Stadium Boulevard and West Boulevard.  The street repairs will result in possible delays on Worley Street.  The work associated with the street repairs is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. 

Beginning Monday, October 27 at 7:00 a.m. The Public Works Street Department will begin street repairs on Ash Street between Stadium Boulevard and West Boulevard.  The street repairs will result in possible delays on Ash Street.  The work associated with the street repairs is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, October 28 at 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. 

Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
