Roadway and sidewalk closures and restrictions starting Tuesday, April 14

COLUMBIA, MO (April 13, 2015) - Roadway and sidewalk closures and restrictions starting Tuesday, April 14

Beginning Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00 a.m. Seth Paul Excavating will begin a repairing sidewalk trench grates near 1112 E Broadway.  This will result in a sidewalk closure along E Broadway between Hitt Street and Waugh Street.  The work associated with the sidewalk closure should be completed by Thursday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m. weather permitting. 

Beginning Wednesday, April 15 at 7:00 a.m., the OPUS Group will remove the construction crane near 127 S 8th Street.  This will result in a closure of Locust Street between 7th Street and 8th Street.  The work associated with the closure should be completed by Wednesday, April 15 5:00 p.m. weather permitting. 

Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
