Litter Pickup on Rock Quarry Road Saturday, August 22

COLUMBIA, MO (August 18, 2015) - The City of Columbia Volunteer Program is partnering with the University of Missouri Center for Leadership and Development to complete a litter pickup on Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. along Rock Quarry Road. The volunteer project is part of the University of Missouri's Step Forward Day. Rock Quarry Road will remain open during the event, but intermittent lane closures will take place.  Individuals travelling through the area are urged to exercise extreme caution and be on the lookout for volunteers in the roadway.
