Columbia Public Works - Roadwork the week of August 24, 2015

COLUMBIA, MO (August 20, 2015) - Beginning on Tuesday, August 25, at 7:00 am,  APAC Inc, a contractor for the City of Columbia, will begin annual mill and overlay maintenance on a number of Columbia streets.

Mill and overlay consists of the top one and one-half inch of asphalt being milled away followed by the application of new asphalt.

Typically, several streets are milled and then the following day, the new asphalt overlay is applied.

The following streets will receive mill and overlay maintenance:

Gipson Ct from Garth Ave to the dead-end

Orchard Court from Crown Point to the dead-end

Skylark from Green Meadows to Cumberland

Pennsylvania from Burlington to Vandiver

Burlington from Pennsylvania to Vandiver

Burlington from Vandiver to Heriford

Prairieview from Creasy Springs to Prairie Ln

Prairie Ln from Creasy Spring to the box culvert

Buttonwood from Grindstone

Hulen from Rollins Rd to the south-end

Malibu Ct from Fairview to the dead-end

Highland Parkway from Clencairn to Highland Ct

Shepard Blvd from Old Highway 63 to the east end

Sunset from West Blvd to Rollins Rd

Stewart from West Blvd to Glenwood

Ashland Rd from 850 feet north of Stadium Blvd to Caniff Circle

North Sinclair from Walcox to Nifong Blvd

Old Millcreek from Nifong to Old Field Rd

Victoria Dr from the Outer Road to Terry Ln

Terry Lane

Riback Rd from Blackberry to Rock Quarry Rd

Walcox from McGreger Ln to the west end

Prospect from Crestland to West Blvd

 

Motorist and non-motorized transportation users should use caution in work zones and find alternate routes when available.
