ROAD CLOSURE BETWEEN GARTH AVE & INDIANA 

COLUMBIA, MO (August 22, 2015) - On Saturday, 08/22/15 at 1047 hours, Columbia Fire Department crews were dispatched to 4 Business Loop I-70 East for a reported line down incident.

Quint 9 (Q9) and crew arrived on the scene at 1053 hours and observed two telephone pole down and power lines across a large box truck.  Command advised BCJC that Business Loop I-70 East between Garth Avenue and Indiana Avenue were blocked due to the power lines across the road. Water & Light was dispatched to the scene.  

The Water & Light representative on the scene advised Quint 9's Lieutenant the road should be opened by 2:30 p.m.
