Second Arrest Made in the Armed Robbery in the 300 Block of Tiger Lane

COLUMBIA, MO (August 24, 2015) - On 8/21/15 at 9:30 P.M., officers arrested Marcellus Anthony Walker, Jr., 18, of Columbia at 1800 I-70 Drive Southwest, Royal Inn, in reference to the 7/23/15 armed robbery in the 300 block of Tiger Lane.

 

On 7/23/15 at 1:10 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Tiger Lane in reference to a robbery. The investigation revealed two male suspects forced their way into a male victim’s home. The suspects pointed handguns at the victim and demanded money. The suspects proceeded to assault the victim and fled the scene in a silver Chrysler 300. During investigation, officers obtained the vehicle’s registration and located a cell phone dropped by one of the suspects. Later that day, officers arrested Gregory Lashaun Brewster in connection to the vehicle. Through continuing investigation, officers linked Walker to the dropped cell phone.

 

Walker was arrested for Robbery in the First Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and First Degree Assault, all with to be set bonds.
