Manor Drive - Maplewood Drive Stormwater Project - Interested Parties Meeting

COLUMBIA, MO (December 1, 2015) - The city of Columbia will host an informal open house style interested parties meeting to present information and collect comments on the Manor Dr - Maplewood Dr stormwater and sanitary sewer project. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 9 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Media Center at Russell Blvd Elementary School, 1800 Rollins Rd.

The storm water system between the 400 blocks of Manor Dr. and Maplewood Dr. is proposed to be improved by the City. The possibility of including a sanitary sewer Private Common Collector Elimination project in the area is being studied.

The estimated investment to infrastructure improvements include:

$50,000 from the Stormwater Utility$125,000 from the Sanitary Sewer Utility

City staff will be on hand with presentation board and will have comment sheets available. After the meeting, the comments received will be included in the council report.
