Interested Parties Meeting - Recycling Drop Off Locations

COLUMBIA, MO (January 22, 2015) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal Open House informational meeting concerning an upcoming Recycling Drop-off construction project. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Gentry Middle School, 4200 Bethel Street, Columbia, MO. The meeting will take place in the Cafeteria. 

The purpose of this meeting is to present design concepts for the Recycling Drop­ off project, which includes the construction of an enclosed area for recycling material at the location of the old Fire Station No. 7 on the west side of Providence Road and a location on the west side of State Farm Parkway near Nifong Boulevard. A location map is attached. 

Construction of this project is currently scheduled for 2015. 

Information and diagrams showing the preliminary design concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. A Public Comment Form will be available for you to fill out. Your input will be considered as the design is developed.
