Movies in the Park 

COLUMBIA, MO (July 1, 2015) - Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning the next showing in the Movies in the Park summer series at Flat Branch Park. Celebrate National Park and Recreation Month with a movie about the national pastime--The Sandlot will be shown at 9 p.m. on July 10.

                                                          

Admission price is $2 per person; children 8 and under are free. Popcorn and other concessions will be available.  Movie-goers should bring a blanket or low lawn chairs for seating.

 

The Movies in the Park series features a monthly, family-friendly movie shown on an inflatable screen. The movies are sponsored by Parks and Recreation, KPLA 101.5, and Boone Electric Community Trust.  Call Parks and Recreation at 874-7460 for more information or visit the Special Events page at www.GoColumbiaMo.com.
