Genie Rogers has been selected as the recipient of the 2015 Howard B. Lang, Jr., Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service to the City of Columbia

COLUMBIA, MO (July 6, 2015) - Genie Rogers has been selected as the recipient of the 2015 Howard B. Lang, Jr., Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service to the City of Columbia. She will be recognized at the top of the City Council meeting agenda this evening, July 6, 2015, at 7 PM.

This is the eighth-annual Lang Award, an award named for former mayor Howard B. Lang, Jr., and presented to a Columbia citizen with exceptional volunteer activity, impact, and initiative. 

A press release will be sent tomorrow, Tuesday, with more detail regarding Ms. Rogers and the award.
