Traffic lane restrictions at Stewart Road and Fifth Street

COLUMBIA, MO (June 1, 2015) - Columbia Water & Light will be repairing some existing electric conduit to tie in a new electric feeder circuit at Stewart Road and Fifth Street. The work will start on Wednesday, June 3rd and should be completed by the end of Thursday, June 4th, weather permitting.  Traffic will be restricted to one lane at the intersection so there will be a person directing traffic. Motorists are urged to be cautious when traveling in the area and use alternate routes when possible. Three parking spots on the north side of Stewart Road will be closed. No electric disruptions are expected to occur during the project.
