Road Closures for Art in the Park at Stephens Lake Park June 6-7

COLUMBIA, MO (June 3, 2015) - 

Due to the Art in the Park event this weekend at Stephens Lake Park, sections of Old Highway 63 and E Walnut Street near the park will be closed to traffic.  The road closures will be in effect 9:30am to 5:30pm on Saturday, June 6, and again 9:30am to 4:30pm on Sunday, June 7. Old Highway 63 will be closed in front of the park between E Broadway and E Walnut Street. Walnut Street will be closed west of the park between William Street and Old Highway 63.

 Parking for the event is available at the Boone Hospital Center and Columbia Parks and Recreation Department will be providing a free shuttle to and from the park.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the event area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
