Section of Fifth Street closed next week

COLUMBIA, MO (June 4, 2015) - Installing electric conduit at Fifth Street and Lancaster Drive will cause the closure of Fifth Street between Locust and Elm streets to thru traffic. Columbia Water & Light will be working on this portion of the new electric circuit project from Monday, June 8 through Thursday, June 11, weather permitting. Motorists will be detoured around the block. No electric disruptions are expected to occur during the project.
