SHOTS FIRED OVERNIGHT IN THE 2600 BLOCK OF QUAIL DRIVE
COLUMBIA, MO (June 4, 2015) - On 6/3/15 at 10:33 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Quail Drive in reference to shots heard.
The investigation revealed a male suspect approached a residence in the area and indicated he needed to speak with a male subject. Occupants of the residence informed the male suspect they did not know the male subject he was referring to. The male suspect proceeded to enter a nearby vehicle, and then fired several shots from the vehicle. The tire of a vehicle in the area was struck by a bullet, however no further property damage was reported. Officers located several shell casings in the area.
The male suspect is described as a black male with dreadlocks and a thin build. There were no confirmed injury reports from the incident. The investigation is on-going.
