City of Columbia Hosts Presentation on the City’s Affordable Housing Efforts

COLUMBIA, MO (May 6, 2015) - The City of Columbia’s Community Development Department is hosting a presentation on one of the City’s homebuyer assistance programs. The presentation will be made by students from the University of Missouri’s Truman School of Public Affairs this Thursday, May 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Conference Room 1A of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The presentation will summarize the City’s affordable housing efforts through the Homeownership Assistance Neighborhood Development Program. The analysis will include long term affordability, average appreciation rates, and program effectiveness. The event is intended for housing professionals and individuals and organizations involved in affordable housing efforts in Columbia.
