Section of Broadway parking closed for water project 	

COLUMBIA, MO (November 20, 2015) - Columbia Water & Light will be transferring water customers’ service lines to a twelve-inch water main next week. To complete the work, parking spots will be closed on the north side of Broadway between Fifth and Seventh streets from Monday, November 23 through Wednesday, November 25.  Traffic is not expected to be hampered in the area but there might be times when the water crew will need to be in the roadway. Motorists are urged to be cautious around the work site. Customers in the area will be individually notified of any water service interruptions. Once the work is completed, the four-inch water pipe that had served customers in the area will be abandoned.
