City offices closed Thanksgiving Day

COLUMBIA, MO (November 20, 2015) - City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, in observance of Thanksgiving. Offices will reopen Friday, Nov. 27.

Residential refuse and recycling collection will not be made on Thanksgiving and will be delayed until Friday; Friday’s collection will be delayed until Saturday.

City buses will not operate, the sanitary landfill will be closed and parking meter regulations will not be enforced on Thanksgiving. Although administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be closed on Thanksgiving, all other emergency services will be available.
