Issues with 9-1-1 Calls Resolved

COLUMBIA, MO (October 8, 2015) - Technicians with Century Link have identified and rectified the source of an issue which caused difficulties with incoming 9-1-1 calls in Boone County.

“While the issues have apparently been resolved, we will continue to monitor the system throughout the night,” said Joint Communications Director Chad Martin. “We’re thankful that the problem is settled so that we can continue to ensure the safety of Boone County residents.”

Martin thanked citizens for their patience and understanding today and also thanked the media and residents, for helping spread the word about today’s issues.
