Fire Damages Residence in North Columbia

COLUMBIA, MO (October 9, 2015) - At 12:09 a.m.Friday, October 9, 2015, the Columbia Fire Department responded to a reported residential structure fire a 4916 Brown Station Road, lot 9.  Several 9-1-1 callers reported flames coming from the residence.

Columbia Firefighters arrived at 12:16 a.m. to find the structure fully involved.  Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire; however, the mobile home had significant damage to the entire structure.

The occupant was not home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.  The damage estimate is $10,000.  The fire is currently being investigated.

Three Quints, a ladder, and a rescue squad responded to the incident.
