CenturyLink Issues Affecting Residents in East Columbia 

COLUMBIA, MO (October 11, 2015) - COLUMBIA, Mo. – Technicians with CenturyLink are currently working on an apparent outage in service that is affecting approximately 7,500 customers in east Columbia. The issue could be preventing those residents from connecting to 9-1-1.

Residents in that area that are unable to connect to 9-1-1 are encouraged to call the Joint Communications non-emergency number at (573) 442-6131, and dial “1” as soon as they hear the automated menu or respond to the nearest Police, Fire or EMS facility.
