TWO SCENES OF SHOTS FIRED ON BOYD LANE

COLUMBIA, MO (September 24, 2015) - On 9/24/15 at 11:47 A.M., officers were dispatched to the area of Rice Road and McKee Street in reference to shots heard. Moments later more reports were received of shots heard in the area of Rice Road and Boyd Lane.

 

Preliminary investigation has revealed shots were fired in two separate locations, including the area of Lamp Lane and Boyd Lane, as well as the area of Rice Road and Boyd Lane. Officers located several shell casings in both areas and a K-9 track was conducted, but was unsuccessful in locating suspects. Currently it is unknown if there was any property damage as result of the fired rounds. There were no reported injuries.

 

The Columbia Police Department is searching for two male suspects. One suspect is described as being a light skinned black male with dreadlocks weighing approximately 160 pounds. The second suspect is described as a black male with short hair last seen wearing dark colored clothing. The investigation is on-going.
