Traffic restrictions on Broadway at Manor Drive during water project this week

COLUMBIA, MO (April 11, 2016) - Columbia Water & Light will be connecting a new 8-inch water line on Manor Drive to a line on Broadway this week. The southbound, right turn lane on Broadway at Manor Drive will be closed as water crews work on the project.

Motorists are urged to be cautious and take alternate routes when possible. The project will start on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:30 a.m. and end on Thursday, April 14 by the end of the day, weather permitting.

The upgraded water line will increase the amount of water that can be delivered to the area for consumers and for firefighting purposes. Customers will be individually notified of any water service disruptions during this project.
