Long-term clsoures/restrictions on 9th, 10th and Locust Streets

COLUMBIA, MO (April 12, 2016) - The City of Columbia community Development Department announced that beginning Tuesday, April 12 at 7 a.m. Fields Holdings, LLC is planning to demolish buildings and then construct a new multi-use building at 124 S. Ninth St., 130 S. Ninth St., and 121 S. 10th St. This will result in closures/restrictions on South Ninth Street, Locust Street, South 10th Street and the alley between Locust Street and Cherry Street.  The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
