[UPDATE} Closure scheduled on Seventh Street for waterline work Aug. 1-4
COLUMBIA, MO (August 2, 2016) -
UPDATE DETAILS: Due to weather, the estimated completion date for the scheduled closure of Seventh Street, between Cherry and Locust, for waterline work has been pushed back to Thursday, Aug. 4.

Closure scheduled on Seventh Street for waterline work Aug. 1-3
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced Friday that Synergy Construction is planning to install a new waterline requiring a closure on Seventh Street between Cherry Street and Locust Street Aug. 1-3. The alley between Locust and Cherry, between Sixth and Seventh, will also be closed.
Synergy Construction is a private contractor that applied for and received a construction permit from the City of Columbia. This work is associated with the proposed private development being completed at 119 S. Seventh St.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route.
